• Frankie (Multi Ch. EDBRIOS AMADEUS) won another Terrier Group at Portadown All Breed Champ. Show under judge Mrs. Peggy Beisel-McIlwaine (USA)
   

• Bono (Latin American & Argentinean Ch. EDBRIOS DESPERADO), only 22 months old,
  is now also a Champion of Uruguay and SICALAM Winner ! At the popular show cluster in Uruguay, Bono won BOB in good competition under well known judges Mr. Clay Coady (USA) and Rafael Santiago (PR)
   

• We have a new American Grand Champion EDBRIOS COSMOPOLITAN
  Cosmo being only 22 months old, did really great during the prestigious Montgomery weekend, at 4 shows he was awarded 1 Select Dog (Devon) and 2 Awards of Merit (Hatboro & Montgomery) and also finished his American Grand Championship.
   

• Exy (EDBRIOS EXTRAVAGANZA) wins another Terrier Group at big International Show
  in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic and Eddie (EDBRIOS MOULIN ROUGE) wins 2 BOBs at Int. Show in Lausanne and was short-listed in the Terrier Group under Mr. Ron Menaker (USA).

From June 2011 we have had some fantastic show news, many Best in Show and Group wins around the world, here is a brief preview...

• World stage news: at the Championnat de France in July that was held together with the World Dog Show, Frankie (Multi Ch. EDBRIOS AMADEUS) won BOB & Group-2, only beaten by the world famous scottie from Russia that was reserve BIS at Crufts :-) . At the WDS Frankie was CAC and res. CACIB. Winning CAC both days, he fulfilled show criteria for awarding the title French Champion. Pictures & video from the world show events added to Frankie's page.
  In Ireland, although shown only on a limited basis, Frankie keeps winning big and is currently # 2 Terrier !
  Group-1 & BEST IN SHOW at Monsktown All Breed Championship Show in Dublin under judge Mrs. Lleton from Denmark and Mr. Joe Kirk from Ireland. 
  Group-1 at Carlow Champ. Show under Mrs. Patricia De Coning from South Africa

• Sunny (SK CH. DALSTAR BONEY M by EDBRIOS) had a great run this summer at shows in Ireland. At Bray All Breed Champ. Show Sunny won BOB under judge M. Skeffington and then went on to win the TERRIER GROUP under terrier specialist Mrs. Mercedes O'Flaherty! She was also BOB in good competition at IKC National Show under judge Mrs. M. Kozlowska from Poland, also Best Bitch & BOS under Nemanja Jovanovc from Serbia at the IKC International Show and under Mrs. Paula Heikonen-Lehkonen from Finland at Irish Breed Society Show. Sunny finished her Irish title in style in County Kerry going BOB, GROUP-1 and Reserve BEST IN SHOW at Tralee All Breed Championship Show. Thank you breed & group judge Ms V. Lyne from Canada and BIS judge Mrs. K. Radcliffe from the USA. New pictures added to Sunny's page.
  
  Sunny's offspring Ciara, Cosmo, Bono, Daisy, Quinn, Reina, Eddie and Nikita also did extremely well:
   

• at the All Terrier Association Championship Show (also INTERRA Show 2011) judged by renowned Peter Green (USA) we showed Ciara (JUN CH. EDBRIOS DOLCE VITA) and what a great win - she was Green Star - BEST BITCH & BOS in a big entry (15 bitches present including 4 Champions - IRL, UK & USA). Best Dog & BOB was our Marco's son Class Act by Hallsblu who then went onto win the ultimate BEST IN SHOW.
  Ciara was also Best Bitch & BOS at Bangor Champ. Show under judge Mr. S. Seymour from Australia. New pictures added.
   

• Cosmo (AM CH. EDBRIOS COSMOPOLITAN), first weekend out as a special, just 19 months old and what a great win at Space Coast kennel Club Show getting TERRIER GROUP-3 under renowned judge Mr. Peter Green in the company of America's TOP Terriers ! Cosmo was also Group-3 (under Mrs. Jane Forsyth ) & Group-4 (Mr. Alfred J. Ferruggiaro in Deland, Group-3 under judge Fred C. Bassett at Griffin Georgia Kennel Club.
   

• Daisy (EDBRIOS FANTASIA) recently won Group-1 and Group-2 in South Africa under judges Mrs. Connie Jarman and Mrs. Patricia De Coning and also finished her Champion title (subject to confirmation).
   

• Reina (EDBRIOS PRIDE AND PREJUDICE) was shown only 3 times and won 3 Best in Show Puppy awards in Latvia, under international judges: Russel Lamonby (UK), Mrs. Cindy Pettersson from Sweden and Mr. Igor Selimovic from Croatia. New pictures added.
   

• Quinn (EDBRIOS EXTREME MEASURES) won regular Terrier Group from the puppy class (only 7,5 months old !) in New Zealand under judge Mrs. Julie Dickinson-Franks from Australia. He also won Best Puppy in Show last weekend. New photo added.
   

• Bono (Arg.& Latin American Ch.EDBRIOS DESPERADO) won Terrier group in Cordoba under judge Mr. Mario Knoll. Bono was owner-handled by Gladys Yangüela Davies.
  At the same show his son won the Junior Terrier Group. New photo added.
   

• Nikita (EDBRIOS RUSSIAN ROULETTE) had her show debut in the USA and she went Winners Bitch from puppy and she also won Puppy Group-2 in strong competition.
   

• Eddie (EDBRIOS MOULIN ROUGE) was CAC, CACIB & BOS last weekend in Maastricht in Holland, new pictures of Eddie added to her page.
   

• Filipek (Multi Ch. EDBRIOS BLUE IVANHOE) celebrated his 8th birthday at the end of August. He hasn't changed a bit, still healthy and strong, full of energy and a very happy dog 24/7 ! Amongst his biggest achievements is Top Dog All Breeds in Ireland 2007
  (all systems), his record point score hasn't been reached by any other top dog to date.
   

• Quinn (EDBRIOS HIGH VOLTAGE)  recently won his first BOB as 17 months old at the Lackawanna KC Show (USA) under judge Mr. Jon Cole, new photo added.
   

• Zippy (EDBRIOS STATUS QUO) is now a Junior Champion ! New picture added to his page.
   

• Exy (EDBRIOS EXTRAVAGANZA) was BOB, BOG & BIS at the Czech Terrier Club Show under judge Mrs. Marja Salminen from Finland (BOG long-legged terrier was judged

• Rihanna (Ch. DALSTAR RIHANNA by EDBRIOS) - was BOB, BOG & BEST IN SHOW at Alava Dog Show in Spain under judge Mrs. Soleckyj-Szpunar from Poland. Rihanna also became EUROPEAN WINNER 2011 !!!!

• Frankie (Multi Ch. Edbrios Amadeus) participated at 2 shows this year and he won the Terrier Group on both occasions. It was the Easter Int. Show under Russian judge Mrs. E. Senashenko and Fermoy Int. Show under Mr. A. Schemel from Austria, both well-known terrier specialists. Frankie also won the Champion Stakes at Easter show under Mrs. M. Hamill. Tammy (Ir Ch. Edbrios Atomic Kitten) was Best Bitch & BOS to Frankie
  at both shows in good competition.
  Frankie also won the Terrier Group under judge Mr. Andrew Brace and Best in Show under Mr. Hans Van Den Berg at the Virtual Dog Show in aid of Karen Hamill
   

• Sunny (Sk Ch. Dalstar Boney M by Edbrios) went BOB at Hibernian Champ. Show in Dublin under Mr. N. Hammond.
   

• New member of our show team 9 months old Roxy (Kebulak Rock Chick by Edbrios) won the Junior Bitch and Reserve Green Star at her first show - HIbernian Champ. Show,

• At St. Patrick's (Celtic Winners) show our youngsters Ciarra (Jun CH. Edbrios Dolce Vita) and Zippy (Edbrios Status Quo) both got reserve Green Star in strong breed competition. Zippy is also Junior Celtic Winner 2011. New pictures of Zippy and Ciarra added to their pages.
   

• All our puppies from the previous litter out of Sunny & Rokoko are now in their new homes: Rocky (Edbrios Rock Me Amadeus) in Russia, Quinn (Edbrios Extreme Measures) in New Zealand, Prince (Edbrios United Colors), Reina (Edbrios Pride And Prejudice) in Latvia, Nikita (Edbrios Russian Roulette) in the USA and Judy (Edbrios Renaissance) in Argentina. • Frankie (Multi Ch. Edbrios Amadeus) won the Ireland's Champion of Champions 2010 finals under judge Mrs. Alicia Pennington from the UK, the is the second time we have won such a competition as the last year's overall winner was our Marco (GB & Ir Ch. Edbrios Marco Polo)
   

• Edbrios are Ireland's TOP TERRIER BREEDERS 2010, for the third year in a row !!! :-)
   

• Marco (GB & Ir Ch. Edbrios Marco Polo) went BOB & Group-1 at Dublin All Breed Champ. Dog Show on the 27 December 2010, he also won All Breed Champion Stakes which qualifies him for the Champion of Champions 2011 competition ! This was the last show of the year 2010 in Ireland, coincidentally, Marco won Group 1 and Best in Show at the first show of this year, so that was nice ending to the show season 2010 in Ireland :-)
   

• Ziggy (Am Ch Edbrios Stradivari) won BOB at the prestigious Eukanuba/AKC Invitational National Championship under well known Terrier specialist Mr. Peter Green. Ziggy was handled as always by Blake Hansen and was also shortlisted in the Terrier Group. Congratulations to all involved !
   

• In December at LKA Show in the UK Philip handled Irish Terrier "X" Ch. Merrymac Efficient Dynamics to his third consecutive CC and "X" is now BRITISH CHAMPION !!! In such a short space of time we did so well with him, Group win at Portadown & Group-3 at Bull Breeds (Ireland) and 3 consecutive CC wins in the UK. Thanks to all judges Mr. Pat Dorian, Mr. R. McCoy, Ms Jennifer Kealy, Mr. T. Hehir, Mr. T.Barker, Mr. A. Norcross and Mr. H. O'Donoghue. "X" is co-owned by Kebulak, Edbrios and Merrymac and resides in the UK with Cara Davani - thanks to Mr & Mrs Hagstrom for allowing us to campaign this beautiful Irish boy.
   

• Rokoko (Multi Ch. Dandy Black & Blue Rokoko) is now back home in Croatia with his breeder/owner Angela Ban - thank you Angela for allowing us to campaign this beautiful boy. We hope his promising offspring will follow in the father's footsteps.
   

• Frankie's (Multi Ch. Edbrios Amadeus) Offspring photo gallery has been updated with new pictures of his Australian progeny.

• New BRITISH CHAMPION for Edbrios ! Marco (GB & Ir Ch. Edbrios Marco Polo) at Belfast Championship Show won his crowning CC under judge Mr. M. Gavin. This is the third consecutive year for Marco to win the dog ticket in Belfast ! Thanks to Marco's owners Frances & Sean Cusack, without their love and dedication this wouldn't be possible.
   

• New IRISH CHAMPION MADE UP IN STYLE in County KERRY! Rokoko (Multi Ch. Dandy Black & Blue Rokoko) is now an Irish Champion - Rokoko won his final (7th) Green Star at the end of August in Tralee, County Kerry, the home of Kerry Blues.
  He was also BOB & Group 2 under Mr. R. Menaker (USA), the breed judge was Mrs. Bousek (USA).
  Tammy (Ch. Edbrios Atomic Kitten) was Best Bitch & BOS at the same show. Frankie (Multi Ch. Edbrios Amadeus) also joined us
  on the trip to Tralee to be shown in the all breed Champion Stakes and he won it !!!, which means he is qualified for the Champion of Champions 2010 event.
   

• The popular Irish Summer Show Circuit in August has started well with Rokoko getting Best in Show at The All Terrier Champ. Show in Dublin. Rokoko did really well during August with some more nice wins:
  - Green Star, BOB, Group-1 and Best in Show-4 at a very wet show in Limerick. Breed judge from Austria Mrs. Heidecker, Group judge Mr. McEntee from Ireland and BIS judge Ms E. Haapaniemi from Finland.
  - Green Star, BOB and GROUP-2 at Bangor Championship Show in Belfast
   

• We had a super day at the IKC show weekend in Dublin in September. The first was the Irish Breeds Society Championship show with a really good entry in Kerries. We showed only girls at this show but they did really well !
  Sunny (Sk Ch. Dalstar Boney Edbrios) got from a very quality line up Best Bitch and then Best of Breed and Best in Show-3 ! New pictures of  Sunny added to her page. Tammy (Ch. Edbrios Atomic Kitten) was reserve Best Bitch to Sunny. 10 months old Sunny's daughter Ciara (Edbrios Dolce Vita) had her show debut and got Junior Bich and Best in Show Puppy ! New pictures of Ciara added to her page. Thanks to the breed judge Mr. Kari Jarvinen from Finland and the BIS judge Mrs. Yvonne Cannon from Ireland.
  The second show of the day was the IKC International Show with a breed judge Mrs. I. Borchorst from Denmark. This time Tammy (Ch. Edbrios Atomic Kitten) beat Sunny and got Best Bitch and Best of Breed. New pictures of Tammy added to her page. Little Ciara got the Junior class again and went over much older girls to become Reserve Best Bitch. Our little 6 months old boy Zippie (Edbrios Status Quo - Tammy's son) at his very first show won Best Puppy, Best Puppy Terrier Group and Best Puppy in Show-3 under Kari Jarvinen from Finland. This was one of the biggest shows in Ireland this year.
   

• Bono (Edbrios Desperado) keeps winning in Argentina - many Puppy and Junior Groups and placements, also Best in Show-2 Puppy and Best in Show-4 Junior, adult Group-2 and Group-3, list of the full show results was added to his page. His sister Daisy (Edbrios Fantasia) was shown at her first champ. show in South Africa and got CC & BOB, Puppy Group-2 and adult Group-4.
   

• Zippie's sister Exy (Edbrios Extravaganza) also won Best in Show Puppy-3 at the Terrier Club Show in Czech Republic !!
   

• Another promising youngster Piper (Dalstar Alicia Keys) was BIS-3 Puppy at the All Terrier Champ. Show in Dublin
   

• News from the European Dog Show in Celje - Kerry (Int Ch. Ciarrai Blue Ivanhoe) became World Veteran Winner,
  Aik (Edbrios Columbus) was 2nd in the Junior Class, new pictures of Aik from this show added to his page. Best of Breed at this show was Ch. Arkama Blue Velvet at Balboa (picture) who is sired by our GB & Ir Ch. Edbrios Bohemian Ivanhoe at Arkama...it was also another nice placement for Ciarra's son Ch. Admiral Bluevic, congratulations to all involved !

• Our trip to World Dog Show in Denmark was successful.
  Rokoko (Multi Ch. Dandy Black & Blue Rokoko) is WORLD WINNER & BOB 2010 !!!! Another beautiful male from Russia,
  Multi Ch. Uragan Braudag (son of our Multi Ch. Edbrios Blue Ivanhoe) was Reserve Best Dog. Filipek's and Dali's grand-daughter Kebulak Wheels on Fire won the Intermediate Bitch Class. Congratulations to all other winners and participants.

• We have also also great show results from Ireland & UK:
  Rokoko (Multi Ch. Dandy Black & Blue Rokoko) won BOB, Terrier Group and Reserve Best in Show at popular Swords All Breeds Champ. Show in Dublin in June. Filipek's and Dali's grand-daughter Kebulak Wheels on Fire was Best Bitch & BOS.

• Last weekend, Frankie (Multi Ch. Edbrios Amadeus) was back in the show ring after a well deserved break this year and he went BOB and Group-1 !!
   

• Ziggy (Am Ch Edbrios Stradivari) went BOB & GROUP 1 at West Palm Beach, Florida show and the next day he was BOB & Group 2. Thanks to Blake Hansen for excellent presentation ! Ziggy has 17 group placements this year so far !
   

• Littermates Daisy (Edbrios Fantasia) and Bono (Edbrios Desperado) from our World Winners litter are doing really well. Daisy has won two Terrier Puppy Groups, Puppy BIS-2, Puppy Best in Show, Terrier Group and Best in Show !!! in South Africa. Bono at his first show weekend in Argentina won Puppy Group & Puppy Group-2. Congratulations Madeleine & Don and Gladys !
  We have also added new pictures of their brother Morgan (Edbrios Paparazzi)
   

• The boys from Dido's litter are also doing very well. 12 months old Johnny Edbrios Indiana Jones won
  Junior Terrier Group & Junior Best in Show-2 in Russia and his litter-brother Tripp (Edbrios Galileo) won Best Puppy at Sweepstakes at prestigious Great Western Terrier Ass. Show in California, USA. Congratulations Olga and Crystel ! New pictures added !
   

• New pictures of our youngest boys Bruno (Edbrios Deep Purple) and Zippie (Edbrios Status Quo) added and also a video of Bodhi (Edbrios Trademark).

• The Volcano Ash delayed Daisy (Edbrios Fantasia) and Bono (Edbrios Desperado) but they are both happily settled in their new homes in South Africa and Argentina. New pictures added.
   

• Rokoko (Multi Ch. Dandy Black & Blue Rokoko) started his show career in Ireland really well, taking his first Green Star, BOB & Group-3 at the International Show in Clonmel. The following week he got his 3rd CC & Best of Breed under judge Mrs. Carol
  Ramsay (Torum) at the National Show in the UK which made him a GB Champion !
   

• Shine (Edbrios Guns N' Roses) won her CAC, CACIB, BOB at the International Show in Litomerice (CZ) and become
  Czech Champion. Shine is the 4th champion from the litter of 5 ! Congratulations Jana !
   

• at the same show, our 3 months old Exy (Edbrios Extravaganza) participated in Senior Handling competition with her handler Eva and became 3rd overall, congratulations ! New pictures of Exy will be soon added to her page.

• Rihanna (Dalstar Rihanna By Edbrios) and Marco (Ir Ch. Edbrios Marco Polo) are flying the flag for Edbrios Kerries wining top honours - BEST IN SHOW at all breed championship shows ! Marco won BOB, Group-1 and Best in Show at the Newtownards All Breed Championship Show in Ireland. Marco took the top honours under well known and respected international judges, Mrs. Brigitta Hasselgren from Sweden who judged the Terrier Group and Mr. Tamas Jakkel from Hungary who judged the BIS.
  Rihanna not only took reserve CC at Crufts, then the week after she went BOB, BOG and Best in Show at the International show in Girona in Spain. Also Rihanna's young son Arterriers Moonlight Shadow won Puppy Group at the same show.
  Huge congratulations to Ivan & Gina from Arterriers.
   

• Ziggy (Am Ch. Edbrios Stradivari) winning with Blake Hansen in the USA ! Ziggy now has 10 Group placements (five are Group-2).

• Tripp (Edbrios Galileo) got his first Major and Best Of Winners at his very first show weekend, in Texas, USA !
  Such a great win for a 9 months old boy ! Congratulations to Tripp's owners Crystel & Matt Davis (Kirkpatrick Kerry Blues). New pictures added to Tripp's page and we have also new pictures of his litter-brothers from Russia - Johnny (Edbrios Indiana Jones)

  Frankie is now TOP IRISH SHOW DOG 2008-2009,
  this win makes him also new Ireland's Representative in the Eukanuba World Challenge 2010 !!!!!!!
  Thank you judge Mrs. Elisabeth Clerc, Eukanuba food company and the Irish Kennel Club for giving us opportunity to compete for this top spot.

• We have the new Champion of Champions 2009 ! The inaugural Ireland's Champion of Champions competition was held in December 2009 in Dublin, judged by Mrs. Glenda Cook from Australia. Marco (Ch. Edbrios Marco Polo) was the overall winner

• Rokoko (Multi Ch. Dandy Black & Blue Rokoko) was shown by Cara at the popular Amsterdam Winners Show under judge D. Ericsson and was BOB and got shortlisted in the group. He has now also his first CC from the LKA Championship show under judge G. Morris.
   

• Big win for Stella (Dalstar Sugababe) at the popular Finnish Winners and Nordic Winners International Championship Shows. Stella wins CACIB & BOB both days under well known breed specialists Helge Kvivesen (Shyloch) and Cathy Neill (Kensbridge). Stella is now a Finnish Champion - she is the 4th champion so far from this very successful litter co-bred with our friend Richard Dalton.

THE WORLD DOG SHOW 2009 NEWS :

• Frankie (GB & Ir Ch. Edbrios Amadeus) is the World Winner 2009 and BEST OF BREED at the FCI World Dog Show 2009 in Bratislava, from an entry of 101 KBTs. He was also shortlisted between the last six in the Terrier Group. Frankie has achieved impossible and in one year he got both the European and World Winner Crown and he was also Cruft's CC Winner.

• Sunny (Dalstar Boney M by Edbrios) is World Winner 2009 and BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX at the FCI World Dog Show 2009 in Bratislava.

• both Frankie and Sunny did the same (BOB & BOS) at the Special Terrier Interra show held with conjunction with the world dog show. With this double win they also fulfilled special SKC criteria and became SLOVAKIAN CHAMPIONS !

• Marco (Ir Ch. Edbrios Marco Polo) won CC, BOB and Group-4 at the Belfast Championship Show.

• Ziggy (Am Ch. Edbrios Stradivari) got Award of Merit at the Montgomery County Terrier Show. Thanks to Blake Hansen for handling him, congratulations to Elaine!

• We got the best Kerry at the World Dog show but brought home 2 best males :-). We are happy to announce the arrival
  of Multi Ch. Dandy Black & Blue Rokoko, who was the Reserve World Winner to Frankie. We have had our eye on Rokoko since we saw him first as a puppy at the European Show in Tulln in 2005. We are very grateful to his breeder/owner Angela Ban from Croatia for letting us having Rokoko for a while. Rokoko resides in England with our good friend Cara Davani, Kebulak Terriers.
  We are looking forward to showing him and using in breeding. More information about Rokoko here.

• Three of Filipek's (Multi Ch. Edbrios Blue Ivanhoe) sons from Glenfitor and Braudag kennel recently became  champions, congratulations to their owners and breeders. Filipek sired 14 champions to date, in Ireland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Poland, Austria, Denmark and Finland.

EUROPEAN WINNERS SHOW 2009 DUBLIN :

• Frankie (GB & Ir Ch. Edbrios Amadeus) won BEST OF BREED in very strong international competition under judge Mr. H. Lehtinen from Finland. Kerries from Ireland, Wales, Scotland, England, Russia, Spain, France and Croatia participated at this event. Later on Frankie went on to win the Reserve Terrier Group !!! The group winner was a very famous Wire Fox Terrier bitch Ch. Blackdale Carousel which was later on the ultimate Best in Show. Frankie, as his mother, now holds the prestigous European Winner title. Interestingly, when Frankie's mother Dali won her title in 2002 in Paris, she was beaten for best of breed by Ch. Gaeltacht Iosac Aduaidh who also went on to win the Best in Show. So it was a nice coincidence that Frankie, as his mother 7 years ago, was beaten at this prestigious event only by the best in show winner :-)
   

• Marco (Ir Ch. Edbrios Marco Polo) did also extremely well during the Euro Show weekend. He won a big Open Class males (11 dogs) at the Ulster KBT Club Show under Peter Steen from Norway. He was second in the same class at the Dublin Irish Blue Terrier Club Show later that day under M. Moller-Sieber from Germany and also Best Coat & Colour. At the Euro Show he won the strong Open Class again and was reserve CACIB dog (second best dog). Marco was also shown on Sunday at the Irish Breeds CC Show and was reserve CC dog (second best male) under Mr. Ron Ramsay.
   

• Our 10+ year old Dali (Multi Ch. Kerrydom Court Dhaulagiri at Edbrios) was also shown and was the Veteran Bitch each day. In her excitment and showmanship she could compete with much younger ones, her energy levels have never changed since her youth :-)
